The Institute of Ministry Formation at Saint Vincent Seminary is excited to welcome Father Dan Carr to the faculty!
Father Dan Carr is a pastor of Saint Regis Parish located in Trafford, Pennsylvania and the Director of Ministry Formation for the Diocese of Greensburg. He is a graduate of Saint Vincent College and continued his studies at Saint Mark Seminary and Gannon University, both located in Erie, Pennsylvania. He further pursued theological studies in Rome at both the Pontifical North American College and the Pontifical Gregorian University.
This spring, Father Dan will be teaching: “Christology and Christian Anthropology.” In this course, students will examine the person and mission of Jesus Christ as found in Scripture and Tradition. Students will trace the historical developments of how the person of Christ came to be understood within the various theological traditions of the past and present. This course will also examine the human person in the light of Christology, focusing upon the themes of fall and redemption, grace and freedom, and sin and conversion.
